Staff/Users - Staff Record - Move a Staff Record to Another Department

Summary:
In staff/users Maintenance you can move a staff record from one department to a different department. If the record has also been provided with an HSPnet user account, this move will switch their default home department access from the old department to the new department.
You can also edit department access in a user key (see the guide: "Add departments to the access of an existing user," but this is only to give access to that user to the list of names in that department).
You would move a staff member record when:
- The staff has moved from one department to another (such as from Mitchel Hospital Nursing to Nylintn Hospital Nursing
- An Instructor teaches in both the nursing program in the Nursing Department, and the Nursing Program in the separate department of Continuing Education. To assign her as an instructor, the record must be in the same department as the program.
