Receiving Agencies - Unlocking Student Phone Number for Contact Tracing

Receiving Agency Related Guide (RARG)

Summary:
The student's phone number entered on their profile is not visible to receiving agencies unless the student authorizes the consent tab in their HSPnet account. When this is done, the receiving agency contact will be able to access the phone number entered on the profile once they have access to the student name.
RCs and DCs can do the following steps to display the student phone number once the placement request (PR) is confirmed and the student assigned to the PR.

  • The phone number will only be available up until 14 days after the end date of the placement.
  1. Look up a placement request and click the student name either in the Inbox or in the PR details window by clicking the ibubble icon ibubble.png

    1. Once the student profile is open you will see a lock icon

  1. Click the lock to reveal the student phone number. You will then receive this warning message.

It warns that the student has consented to the release of their phone number for contact tracing. It also warns that your access to this will be tracked on the student's profile history. It then asks you to confirm to display the phone number.

Click the OK to confirm.

  1. Student phone number is now displayed.
  • The phone number will only be available up until 14 days after the end date of the placement.
