What is HSPnet?

The Health Sciences Placement Network (HSPnet) is a web-based system for coordinating practice education activities for health students and learners from other disciplines. Practice education activities include coordinating learning placements (e.g., preceptorships, mentorships, and group placements) and related activities such as preceptor recognition, instructor assignment and scheduling, collaborative resolution of scheduling conflicts, and interprofessional placements.

Key goals of HSPnet are to streamline manual processes for managing practice education, improve communications and information sharing, and generate multiple data reports to provide better system-wide information.
