User Management Responsibilities of a Receiving Coordinator

A Receiving Coordinator (RC) is a Receiving Agency representative who receives and coordinates incoming placement requests. The RC may redirect incoming requests to a Destination Coordinator (DC) for consideration or may reply directly on behalf of the Receiving Agency with a response of Accept or Decline by Agency.

In HSPnet, there are two levels of Receiving Coordinator (RC) users: Regular Access and Local Administrator Access.

  • All RCs start out with Regular Access. Users with Regular Access have permission to manage the basic aspects of the Placement Cycle but are restricted in the permissions they have and functions they can perform in HSPnet (see table below).
  • Users who earn Local Administrator status can access all HSPnet features and functions pertaining to their role.
