Email - Shared Email Addresses
Placing & Receiving Agency Related Guide (PARG RARG)
Summary:
Placing and Receiving Coordinators may use a shared or generic email address such as "Placements@college.ca" so long as they also provide a Direct Email address for password delivery and for other users who want to communicate with a specific person.
Some Placing or Receiving Coordinators use a generic or shared email address such as "Placements@college.ca". HSPnet policies allow use of a shared email address for routine communications, such as delivery and follow-up of placement requests, so long as a Direct Email address is also provided.
The Direct Email address:
- will be used for secure password delivery and other system messages
- is available to other users if they prefer to communicate with a specific person
- may not be a shared account
- must identify the recipient – e.g. john.smith@college.ca
