Placing Agency Related Guide (PARG)

Summary:
This guide explains how to schedule an email that will be sent to all assigned Supervisors in a given course, based on a template from the Correspondence module.

Background
Placing Coordinators (PC) may wish to schedule delivery of an email to all supervisors who are assigned to a current/upcoming placement. For example, to deliver:

  • a confirmation or reminder email a few days before the placement starts

  • a thank you message when the placement ends.

  • Setup the Feature

    1. Contact support@hspcanada.net to enable this feature for your program.

    Schedule the email for a Course

    1. Navigate to Cohorts and Editimage.pnga current / upcoming course
    2. Mark the checkbox to "Send automatic email to Preceptors" and enter a date (must be after today's date)
    3. Select a Correspondence template that is suitable for delivery as a text only email.1. email
    4. Click Save  to continue.continue

    Things to Remember

    •        Emails will be sent only for placement requests that have one or more supervisors assigned.
