Training for RCs - Index of the RC Training Video Series

Receiving Agency Related Guide (RARG)

Summary:
Index of the RC Training Video Series. This series is intended for introductory training of Receiving Coordinators and also as a review of the placement process within HSPnet.

If you are a new Receiving Coordinator and do not have full access to HSPnet, please view these videos (scroll down to see) and then complete the RC Training Quiz following these steps:

Prepare for the RC Local Administrator Quiz by logging in to the HSPnet Knowledge Base and completing the RC Training Video Series and quiz.
When ready to write the RC Local Administrator Quiz:

1.    Log in to your provincial instance of HSPnet.
2.    In the navigation bar on the left, select Maintenance and then Setup/Lookup. The Setup/Lookup screen opens.
3.    In the Personal Setup section, select HSPnet eLearning. HSPnet eLearning, the HSPnet Learning Management System, opens.
4.    In the Course categories section, select English. A list of all courses available in English opens.
5.    Select Receiving Coordinator Local Administrator Quiz. The Receiving Coordinator Local Administrator Quiz course opens.
6.    Select Enroll me to advance to the next screen.
7.    Review the Course Information and then select Receiving Coordinator Local Administrator Quiz. The Receiving Coordinator Local Administrator Quiz activity opens.
8.    Select Enter. The Receiving Coordinator Local Administrator Quiz opens.
9.    Write the quiz as many times as you need to pass it (i.e., score >70%). Note that you do not need to finish the entire quiz in one sitting: your progress can be saved, and you can return to complete the quiz at a later time.
10.    When you finish the quiz, select Exit Activity (grey button on the top right of the screen). Your quiz result is saved to HSPnet eLearning.

When you pass the quiz, the HSPnet team is automatically notified, and they will upgrade your status in HSPnet from RC Regular Access to RC Local Administrator and send you an email confirming this. Local Administrator status provides you with access to all the features and functions of HSPnet available to an RC.
