Request has not yet been sent by the school.

New/HoldOnly the PC can see this status.**New - Request has not yet been sent by the school**. Some provinces or geographic zones have agreed upon release dates: for instance, requests for the FALL term may only be sent after a certain date in May. The reason for an agreed up release date is to level the playing field so that all schools send their requests at the same time - in order to prevent an "early bird" from getting all of the choice placement locations by getting there ahead of everyone else. **/Hold** is simply an alert this request will be held until a certain date, even if it is *Sent*. You can see this on a Placement Request by opening the details icon and going to the placement information tab. There is a check box there that says: *use the provincial release date of: XX. *New Destination
